The BMW 2 Series is a compact car that has several different body styles. It is available as a compact coupé that replaced the 1 Series coupé, or as a convertible model that replaces the 1 Series convertible in the BMW lineup and new compact MPV body style.
The BMW 3 Series is a compact executive car, successor to the BMW New Class, it has been produced in six different generations and in five different body styles. It is BMW’s best-selling model.
The BMW 5-Series is a mid-size luxury car since 1972. The car is in its sixth generation and sold in sedan and touring body styles. It is BMW’s second best-selling model after the 3-Series and in 2010 produced about 50% of the BMW’s profits.
The BMW 6 Series is a series of luxury grand tourers.The first was the E24, being derived from the first generation 7 Series, 14 years after production ceased, BMW released the all new E63/E64 which was available as a coupé and convertible. The third generation F12 and F13 6 series was released in 2011 for the 2012 model year.
The BMW 7 Series is a line of full-size luxury vehicles produced by the German automaker BMW. Introduced in 1977, it is BMW’s flagship car and is only available as a sedan or extended-length limousine. The 7 Series traditionally introduces technologies and exterior design themes.
The BMW Z Models traditionally are roadsters manufactured by the German automaker BMW beginning with the Z1. The Z range has been produced in four different series with five generations, including coupe variants, one super car, and one concept.
The BMW i is a sub-brand of BMW founded in 2011 to design and manufacture plug-in electric vehicles. The company’s initial plans call for the release of two vehicles; the i3 all-electric car and the i8 plug-in hybrid.
